Why I practice? Ten years ago my best friend Wendy invited me to take a yoga class. What I thought would just be a girl’s night has turned into a yoga inspired lifestyle that informs my daily routine improving the health of my mind, body and soul. As a working mom of three children, I was drawn to studying vinyasa, yin and restorative; styles that help reduce stress and anxiety while increasing strength and flexibility. I’m a forever student of yoga because I finally found a tool that works for me.
Why I teach? I believe everyone could benefit from yoga and I’m passionate about making it accessible to new students and under-served communities. When I’m not in the studio you'll find me teaching in a city park, community center, or as a guest speaker on the benefits of yoga. I’m committed to supporting each of my students in learning the skills they need to feel confident in moving their body, loving themselves, and creating the results they seek both on and off the mat.
My inspiration. Through this practice I’ve gotten to know and learn from hundreds of students and yogis who have pushed me out of my comfort zone and lovingly supported my growth. My teachers include Kim Charbonneau, Annie Simard and Liza Dousson. I completed my 500-hour training at The Yoga Shop’s LivFree Yoga School, Yin yoga training at Raven's Wing Yoga and Restorative yoga training at Yoga & Ayurveda Center.
